Itinerary

Upon Arrival to the islands don´t forget to fill in the form of entry control that you will be given in the office of INGALA in the airports in Quito and Guayaquil. Once at Baltra airport the staff will find you and take to the Santa Cruz Island, where you will visit the high part of the island, here you can admire the giant tortoises in their natural state, see the lava tunnels and enjoy a delicious lunch at one of its ranches. After that the guide will drop at the hotel for check in, dinner and overnight. (-/L/D)

Hotel pick up: 5:30 pm – boat departs 06:00 am (Approx. 2-3hours)

After breakfast, transfer to the dock, where you board the boat to Isabela Island by speed boat. Upon arrival the staff will take you to your hotel and walk around for the town of Isabela. After lunch in the afternoon you make an interesting excursion to the island Tintoreras, it´s a very short distance from Villamil Port. Its name because of there is a chasm of quite water was often rest the white fin sharks known as Tintoreras. Snorkel in a place indicated for this activity where you can also see penguins. Return to the hotel and dinner. (B/L/D)

Lava Tunnels Pick up exact time to be determined by the guide. On this tour of about 5-6 hours you will see a natural aquarium, you will find black lava arches shaped volcanic formations and where you can access on fishing boats equipped for this tour. You can also snorkel and swim in clear waters with colorful fish of many sizes, sea lions, sea turtles, eagle rays, lobsters, sea snakes and other species. Enjoy a box lunch on board and return in the afternoon to Villamil Port. (B/BL/D) Sierra Negra and Volcan Chico After breakfast, transportation to the highlands (45 minutes) to Sierra Negra Volcano (the second largest and most active volcano in the world) this tour is on foot (2 1/2 hours) and if weather conditions permit, you will also observe  CHICO VOLCANO, get a box lunch then hike back dawn to the bus (2 1/2 hours) and return to the hotel dinner and overnight. Early in the morning transfer to the pier to take the boat to Santa Cruz Island, on arrival the guide will take you for breakfast and then visit the Fausto Llerena breeding center is located within the Charles Darwin Station, it is a rescue and breeding center of giant tortoises (land) originating from different islands of the Galapagos as Española, Santiago, Santa Cruz, among others. During the visit you can see turtles few months old to adults believed to be over one hundred years old. After lunch you will go to Tortuga Bay; it is one of the larges and beautiful white sand beaches that you can visit, here you can see iguanas and turtles, great place for swimming, kayaking or just walking then return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight. (B/L/D)

Bartolome: Early in the morning (6 am) you will be picked up by the transportation that will take you into the channel Itabaca, from where you will board the yacht. Aboard you enjoy a delicious breakfast while sailing to your destination Bartolome Island is famous for its Pinnacle Rock, a tower or lance-shaped obelisk that rises from the edge of the ocean and is one of the most famous images of the islands. A beach in perfect crescent shaped, with pink and white sands, east of the pinnacle. You can do snorkeling on this beach. Under the surface, we find schools of tropical fish, sea urchins, starfish and sea anemones. (B/L/D)   North Seymour: Upon arrival, a small forest of silver-gray Rosewood rises near the landing site. The island is full of life! You may have to give way to a wolf or a marine iguana. The blue-footed boobies perform their mating dance right next to the trail. The trail turns towards the center of the island to reveal the largest nesting site of magnificent frigate birds. In the afternoon visit Las Bachas, coral white sand beach, it is one of the most important nesting sites for sea turtles. On the coast marine iguanas are seen in the lagoon we often see flamingos. Return to Ayora Port. (B/L/D)  

Plazas: After breakfast, yow will be picked up from the hotel to go to the channel Itabaca, from where you will board the yacht. Arriving to Plazas, where a very colorful landscape receives you: the turquoise waters of the channel contrast with the bright white sand and black lava of the shoreline. Green algae have covered rocks in some places, and close to it, deep orange color zayapas crabs roam the place. A little above a carpet of succulent scarlet it extends at the base of green prickly-pear cactus under whose shade iguanas waiting patiently to feed on fallen fruit. The guide will take you to the best place to snorkel, whether on Plazas Island or Punta Carrion: you will appreciate sea lion colonies, variety of fish, rays and possibly reef sharks white tip fin. Early in the morning after breakfast, pick up from the hotel to the airport, a short stop in twin craters on the way back to the airport. Finally you will be assisted by the guide to take your flight back to the mainland. (B/-/-)
