After breakfast at your hotel in Puerto Natales, your will get a box lunch. Then we will departure at 7 in the morning directly to Torres del Paine National Park. The trip will be through the vast Patagonian plains before arriving to the entrance to the Laguna Amarga. Here the registration with CONAF (National Forestry Corporation) is required. We will continue on your semi-private transportation until we reach the Torre Central Refuge. Here you will spend the night. We must register again here and prepare for a challenging day of excursions through various Patagonian landscapes. Today’s tour continues through the Ascensio Valley and goes up on the slopes, where the wind usually blows, and an extensive beech forest can be observed. During the final ascent, we will cross an immense field of rocks until we reach one of the most emblematic mountain views in the world, the Base of the Towers. At a height of 2,953ft/900m marvel at the rugged granite walls of the towers (north, south, and center) and the bright turquoise glacier lake. We will take some pictures and have lunch before following the same path to the Central Tower Shelter. After a long day of hiking, enjoy a warm dinner at the Refuge. Today, the tour will take us to the deepest part of the park, towards Los Cuernos Refuge, which is one of the most isolated mountain huts. We will walk along the clear streams, admire the glaciers that hang from Mount Almirante Nieto (8,759ft/2.670m) and observe condors as you travel along the edge of the fascinating blue and green waters of Nordenskjold Lake. We will start the day hiking a narrow and windy valley that leads to the Ducks Lake, as we will go further will begin to admire the immense ice field of southern Patagonia, as well as the Gray Lake iceberg. After we will be passing through the sometimes very windy viewpoint of Gray Glacier, the trail descends through a mountainous forest until we will come face to face with the majestic Gray Glacier. We will spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing at the mountain hut or exploring the surroundings. For an unforgettable panoramic view of the Gray Glacier, the tour will be between 3 to 4 hours (round trip) through the Gray Refuge to the famous Hanging Bridges. We will be crossing the second suspension bridge and observe the immeasurable ocean of deep blues and the small turquoise lagoons that lies on the magnificent Gray Glacier. If we are lucky, we can take the ice that forms in the deep and icy waters of Gray Lake. Then we need to go back to the Gray Shelter in order to collect our luggage. We will take a short walk along the shores of Gray Lake and then board the Gray III Catamaran at 2 in the afternoon. The Catamaran will sail through the crystalline blue icebergs. We will admire the huge ice walls of the Gray Glacier. After around 2 hours of navigation, we will disembark and walk 35 minutes through the Gray beach. We will find our transport to return back to Puerto Natales to enjoy a farewell dinner with your group and guide. The day starts early in the morning to make the whole day tour to the heart of Torres del Paine Park. We will be passing through the French Camp and after 2 hours of hiking, we will reach the base of the French Valley. We will leave our backpack at the Italian CONAF (National Forestry Corporation) nursery station and start our trip through the Valley. We will hike a huge rocky field and follow a tree-lined crest until we reach the French Viewpoint. Here we will be rewarded with breathtaking views, of the lagoons, turquoise glaciers and magnificent blue glaciers, which flows down the east side of Paine Grande (10,007ft/3.050m). If we are lucky, we will hear the thunderous sound of water and ice falling, as it is a common place to witness avalanches. We will take some pictures and enjoy our Box Lunch before returning to the Italian CONAF nursery station. We will take our backpack and continue to Paine Grande Shelter for about 3 hours. We will enjoy a delicious dinner at the Refuge and rest during the night.
