Mila Jacome is part of the Lonely Summits team, bringing creativity, dedication, and a genuine love for exploring the world around her. Originally from Machachi – Ecuador, she has a special connection to the Andes and a deep appreciation for her country’s stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage.
Her adventures have taken her up mountains such as Rucu Pichincha, El Corazón, and Pasochoa, as well as to the Antisana Glacier School, where she gained experience in a glacial environment. She has also traveled along Ecuador’s Spondylus Route on the Pacific coast and explored the Amazon rainforest, discovering the incredible biodiversity that makes Ecuador so unique. Her travels have also led her to historical and cultural landmarks, including the ancient ruins of Ingapirca.
Beyond Ecuador, Mila has explored Peru, visiting some of its most iconic destinations, including Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), Ollantaytambo, Moray, and the Maras Salt Mines. These experiences have deepened her appreciation for the natural beauty, history, and cultural traditions of the Andean region.
At Lonely Summits, Mila is part of the logistics team, helping coordinate the details that make each trip possible. She enjoys staying organized, finding creative solutions, and making sure travelers feel comfortable, safe, and ready for their adventures. She believes that every great journey starts with careful planning, clear communication, and a genuine connection between the people who bring it to life.
Education:
Mila is currently studying Law, a degree that continues to develop her communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, all of which complement her work in logistics.
Interests:
In her free time, Mila loves traveling, discovering new places, and learning about different cultures, traditions, and ways of life; she sees every journey as an opportunity to gain new perspectives and build a deeper connection with the world around her. She also enjoys reading, working on her artistic ideas, dance and spending time with animals. Naturally curious and always eager to learn.
