Sightseeing Cuenca and Guayaquil in 6 days

We will go to the archeological complex of Ingapirca, it is an authentically Inca construction made at the beginning of XVI century, this place was considered by Incas as observatory of the sun and moon shortly before the arrival of the Spaniards to this area. Return to Cuenca. (B/-/-)

Cajas reserve is a natural step between the Sierra and the Coast and was used by Cañaris who inhabited the area before Incas and Spanish invasions. The Incas built a way of which today can explore a small stretch that connected Cuenca and the Coast. There are many routes in this area but we will tour the most picturesque and easily accessible. We will continue our trip to Guayaquil. (B/-/-)

Guayaquil known as “Perla Del Pacífico”, recognized for having the important port of the country, our tour begins in Centenario Park, La Rotonda, Las Peña’s neighborhood and we will finish our tour in Historical Park. (B/-/-)

Our visit will be through a river route by canoes, we will observe diversity of birds such as: spatulas pink attractive by the color of its plumage, some species of herons, cormorants as well as other animals such as alligators, boas and howler monkeys. Then we will go to coconut farm where we will enjoy a delicious lunch, after this we will through different plantations that the farm has, we will know the different processes of crop of cocoa, growth stage, planting, grafting, etc.

In the workshop of traditional chocolate we can lean and practice the process of the transformation of cocoa to traditional chocolate, toasted, and peeled in the traditional way and finally prepares the hot chocolate.
