Flavio has a great experience as a professional mountain guide, he started his climbing career back in 1.992, since then, he has made very challenge and commercial ascents in Ecuador and, “all over the world” in South America, Africa and Europe. He has been living in Europe for 10 years, where he has developed a very good technique for rock climbing, he is been leading very challenge routes with graduation until 7B+ to 7C (French scale), sportive, traditional and mixed rock climbing routes. Flavio is passionate for a mountaineering literature, he will be always “updated” regarding new routes, new records, itineraries, climbing gear, etc.
As a complement of his studies in Industrial Phycology, he has attended important courses, such as:
* Mountain Guide and updates courses by ASEGUIM (Ecuadorian Association of Mountain Guides), in 1997, in April 2000, in September 2014 and finally in June 2017 got his IFMGA/UIAGM certification
* Course for Industrial Security and Vertical jobs, Barcelona – Spain 20006
* Course for paramedic assistant and rescuer, with Spanish Red Cross, Barcelona – Spain 20006
* Course for lifeguards, with Spanish Red Cross, Barcelona – Spain 2010
He speaks fluent Spanish, English and Catalan.
